Education of children in the workshop "The Alphabet of Art”

The occupation's goals in the children workshop "The Alphabet of Art" are: to evoke and strengthen the interest and love to the fine art, developing aesthetic awareness and the concept of "beau-ideal", to improve graphic abilities, artic taste, observation skills, creative imagination and mentality.

Educational process of the Children Workshop include the elements of art therapy (the method of psychological work using possibilities of art in order to ensure best results in expression of the creative abilities both for able-bodied persons and disabled people).

The work of Children Workshop also includes holding excursions at exhibitions and museums, copying of pictures in view of raising the children' awareness of various artistic solutions of masters of art, drawing from nature for the purpose of observation and sketches of natural phenomena, holding conversations about the fine arts. Art activity in gallery space allows more detailed acquainting of visitors with different types of art.

Parents can participate together with their children in various projects, be present at occupations, create own works sitting next to the child. This creates new touch points and general-audience associations in creative space where there is no direct adult - child dependence, but there is an opportunity for joint creative activity as equals where the excessive social and emotional stress is unkinked.

Special time is given for studying of each art form. During this time its language, art and figurative nature and also its communication with life of society and people's life are analyzed. The gained knowledge of different types of art is generalized when studying architecture, monumental, synthetic art forms and art styles.

Art activity on occupations of the Center by Fine Arts finds various forms of expression: the image in a plane and in volume; decorative and constructive work; perception of the phenomena of reality and works of art; discussion of works of companions, results of collective creativity and individual work on occupations; studying of cultural heritage of the world; selection of illustrative material to the studied subjects; listening of musical and literary works (national, classical, modern).
